Giclee fine art print reproduction of Edmund Leighton’s The Accolade. Chivalry is not dead! The painting depicts an accolade, a ceremony to confer knighthood. The ceremony is performed by a young queen, while the knight is bowed before her in a position of submission. This image has been retouched in professional art software to restore it to as close as possible to its original. The finished print is 8 x 11.5 inches and is printed with a 1/8″ white border to allow for matting and framing.
The Giclee is printed on a high-end printer using archival pigment inks and Somerset Velvet 100% rag fine art paper, which is also acid-free. The print is high-resolution, allowing for a museum-quality product.
The processing time before shipment is 1-3 business days. Shipping is USPS Priority Mail. The print is shipped flat between two pieces of foam core held in place by corners. Then I wrap it in plastic so that if it happens to get wet the print will be secure and dry.
